Belk College Dean Steve Ott recently announced that Dr. Scott Frame has been appointed Belk Distinguished Professor of Business. Dr. Frame received his Ph.D. and M.A., both in Economics, from the University of Georgia and his B.S. in Economics from Arizona State University. Prior to joining the Belk College in 2012, he was a financial economist and senior policy advisor at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.
Created in 1990 from a generous gift by The Belk Foundation, the Belk Distinguished Professor of Business was funded to enhance the academic and research programs of the Belk College of Business.
"The Belk Professor is called on to assist with faculty development and provide important guidance to the programmatic development of the College," Dean Ott said. "Scott Frame's outstanding research record and leadership abilities make him most worthy of this distinguished faculty appointment."
